Our core purpose is to improve and enhance the lives of others in the community, both locally and in other areas of the World. The Lamson Paragon Group supports and participates many charitable causes and events. This focus is the basis of the culture of our entire group.

We would like to share some of the causes closest to our hearts and urge you to get involved where you can.

Supporting Women in the Print Media Industry

There are a lot of great people in our industry and indeed within The Lamson Group. We are honoured to be involved in this collaboration which acts as a support team, offering opportunities to network while benefiting women from all walks of life, in and around the industry.

Raising funds and awareness for the Australian Homeless Community

The Vinnies CEO Sleepout began in 2006 as a local community venture in Sydney’s Parramatta. Since then, the event has raised over $60 million in support of Vinnies homeless services. The aim of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout is to not just raise funds, but also raise awareness and remove the stigma of the homeless community. Our Group CEO, Mr Rodney Frost, has taken part in this event since 2009.

Education and training in Personal Safety and Child Protection

Our Vision is to make Australia the safest place in the world to raise a child by 2020.  To achieve this we depend on business, government and community support. It is only through increasing general awareness, increasing skills and capacity building for those working and living with children, preventative strategies, education and strong policies and legislation that we can accomplish Our Mission - to stop child sexual assault in society. The Lamson Group support this great cause in a large variety of ways.

In Partnership with Certe Wealth Protection

St Vincent De Paul offers range of different events to raise money and positive experiences. Every year The Lamson Paragon Group partner with Certe Wealth Protection to hold homeless BBQ’s in the city. The Lamson Groups team have been outstanding being out until late at night providing a warm dinner for the many homeless in the CBD.

Donations for Great Cause

Alfa Distributions is located in Bankstown NSW. However, its Fijian-born owner, Ambika Prasad, now spends most of his time residing in Fiji, where he contributes to the care of local children by providing them with accommodation and schools. Companies are invited to  assist with Mr Prasad’s efforts by donating computers to Alfa Distributions. The Lamson Group donates all its used PCs and monitors to this great cause.

In Partnership with Upskills Foundation

We have found an opportunity to help the needy in the Philippines, particularly in Tondo, Manila. It is here that a community is surrounded by heaps of trash and dump sites. Many families gather together, living in make shift shanties without running water, sanitation or a stable electrical supply. The majority of the community are disenfranchised, unregistered for Government benefits, in debt, often unskilled and trapped in a cycle of poverty without the means to enjoy a better life. The Lamson Group together with the Upskills Foundation, work with families and the wider community by building the capacity and resources of local people in such a way that they will be able to continue their efforts independently and sustainably in the future.. Read more...

Supporting Cancer Research in Memory of Mr. Peter Hicks

In January 2019 The Lamson Group sustained a devastating loss via the passing of Mr Peter Hicks to Cancer. We immediately wanted to grow our support for Cancer Research and decided to support both The Cancer Councils Relay for Life event and Avners Foundation with all of the great work that they continue to do.. Read more...
